About the Club

Newf Enthusiasts Unite

The Central Ontario Newfoundland Dog Club (CONDC) is a club for Newfoundland Dog owners and lovers where they can learn more about the breed, attend events specific to the breed and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow Newf enthusiasts.

The club holds events, such as carting, water rescue, grooming seminars with interesting and informative instructors. We also have novelty items, such as hoodies, t-shirts, grooming aprons and ball caps for sale. Please contact us if you'd like to purchase an item.

Working Breed

As a working breed, the Newfoundland thrives when given a job and excels at many different forms of work. Click here to read about more some great activities to do with your Newf.

We hold an annual general meet once a year where we all get together to discuss the past year, future plans and talk endlessly about the joys of being owned by a Newfoundland Dog.

The Newfoundland National

The Newfoundland National is held every two years near Cornwall, Ontario and the club is heavily involved with the planning, operation and sponsorship of the event. If you've never seen upwards of 50 Newfoundlands in one place, you surely don't want to miss it. The next National is not yet scheduled due to the uncertainty Covid 19 has caused.
