We are honoured to once again have Kaila Everest of Sea Fever Newfoundlands instruct our grooming seminar.


This seminar is a very popular one and provides lots of hands-on grooming practice. '


There will be many opportunities to ask questions and receive one-on-one instruction.


The seminar will run from 10am to 4pm. 

Set up time is from 9am to 9:45am.

  • Dealing with Mats and Hot Spots
  • Transitioning from Puppy to Adult Coats 
  • To Clip or Not to Clip a Newf's Coat
  • Spay Coats
  • Grooming Tools and Product recommendations

About the Instructor

Kaila Everest

Kaila started her love affair with Newfoundlands when she brought home her first Newf puppy, Ayasha. She dedicated many years volunteering with Newfoundland Dog Rescue, studying the breed standard and learning from breed experts. 


Kaila created Sea Fever Newfoundlands and is now focused on breeding and showing her Newfoundlands. 


As a CONDC member, Kaila has instructed our grooming seminars, volunteered on National Specialty Committees, acted as Chief Steward at water tests and participated in many club events.

Dogs must be at least 4 months of age in order to participate.


 Audit Spots are available for people who wish to attend without a dog. 


 Yes! Please let us know and we will arrange for equipment for you to use.
